Warm Season Program

Bermuda, zoysia, centipede and other warm season grasses require very different treatment from our cool season grasses. Our 6 application program is specifically designed for a successful weed free warm season lawn.

We custom mix our treatments and are constantly changing our applications depending weather, timing and your lawns needs. Please us this schedule as a rough guideline.

Application One - February - March

This visit targets control of existing winter annual weeds, pre-emergent weed control for annual grasses and broadleaf weeds.

Application Two - March through April

This application contains a booster pre-emergent weed control for annual grasses and broadleaf weeds, post-emerge weed control , and fertilizer to promote early spring green up of dormant turf.

Application Three - April through June

This application consists of a balanced fertilizer to promote rapid green up of turf and post-emerge weed control as necessary.

Application Four - Late June through August

This application will maintain color and promote growth in the summer. Application consists of fertilizer and post-emerge weed control as necessary.

Warm Season Five - August through September

This application of a balanced  fertilizer containing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium to maintain color and promote growth throughout the fall.

Warm Season Six - October through November

This final application contains a balanced fertilizer with high amounts of potassium to protect turf grass throughout the winter as well as a pre-emergent weed control for annual grasses and broadleaf weeds.
